Gabriel Castro graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2013 with a BBA in Accounting. He worked with the Comptroller of Public Accounts enforcement and audit division and participated in extensive tax training programs for oil and gas industries, convenience stores, mixed beverage, motor vehicles, and other training related to conducting audits. He conducted many state tax audits and refunds in various industries including manufacturers, oil and gas, rental and service providers, out of state retail corporations, hotels, property management companies, contractors, landscapers, waste removal services, gyms, restaurants, nightclub/bars, convenience stores, and motor vehicle dealers. While working for the Comptroller he also provided taxpayer seminars and assisted in training new hires.

In his free time, he assists in coaching his daughter’s soccer team, and referees for local high school soccer teams.
