Frank Castro graduated from St. Mary’s University in 1973 with a BBA in Accounting and Texas A&M Corpus Christi with an MBA in Business Management. He began working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts where he worked for 31 years. While working for the state he was a sales tax auditor, fraud auditor, supervisor, manager trainee, and a contract examiner. He was a member of the Audit Division Steering Committee and also received the Agency Pioneer Award with the Comptroller of Public Accounts.

He enjoys traveling, spending time with his grandchildren and working.
